I'm embarrassed to talk to my mom about bras and STUFF! What should I do?

Talking to you mom about personal issues can be hard, but this is something that you need to do. Don’t forget that your mom is a woman also, and she has probably experienced many of the same issues that you face now.

She will probably understand your embarrassment, and she may feel a little embarrassed about this STUFF too. It is better for you to ask her questions now, because it will make it easier to ask her more difficult questions in the future.

I want a padded bra but I'm not allowed to have one because my parents say they're "Frivolous". How can I make my breasts look bigger?

First, ask yourself "Why do I want bigger breast?" Is it for the boys, or because you feel out of place among other girls? Have your breast reached their full size?

Different girls will develop at different stages, while you may be behind now, you may catch up soon. Even if your breast stay small, it's not the end of the world.. as a matter of fact, smaller breast have many wonderful qualities. Woman with large breast experience back problems, neck problems, and sagging as they age. Smaller breast allow for freedom of movement, and can be an advantage in any physical activity. The most important thing to remember, is that your breast are a beautiful part of you, and you should be proud of them, no mater what size they are.

If your concerns are that the boys won't like you; that is only a myth. Breasts are breast; your attitude, personality, and confidence are what make the difference.

If other girls are developing quicker than you, don't worry; every girl will go through her own growth stage, and you will probably catch up.

Your parents have reasons for their decision, and are probably looking out for your best interest. They said that a padded bra is "frivolous" (inappropriately silly), and it very well could be. A padded bra can look funny under a t-shirt, and create bulges were no bulge should be. There may also be some health related risk; a padded bra does not always offer proper support, especially in a growing girl. If the bra is designed to ad a cup size, it can be very restricting, and can prohibit the growth of your breast, (Keep your breast from growing to their full size). Any bra that fits too tightly can do this over time.

Sorry, but their is no proven natural way to increase your size, no matter what some commercials say. And even though certain chemicals can have this effect, you should never mess up your body's natural chemical process.

There are many methods that people claim will help increase your breast size; push-ups/bench press (does not increase breast size, but will make your chest look fuller), eating fatty foods (releases hormones, and adds fat, the stuff that breast are made of, but this will also add fat everywhere else).

If you can learn to love your breast just the way they are, and be confident with who you are; you will get more attention, and your beauty will show through, more than all the padding in the world could do.

Why am I teased because I don't have big breasts like other girls, I'm now in stage 3?

Girls developed breast at different stages, stage 3 can begin as early as 9 for some girls, and others may not get there until the age of 15. It sounds to me like your development is perfectly normal. I had small breast until the age of 14, then they grew quickly; almost overnight. The other kids made fun of me, saying that I padded my bra.

Kids will always tease; they tease some for being too big, and others for being too small. Anyone who makes fun of other people, is just trying to hide their own problems and insecurities. If your friends joke about it, tell them how you fell.

Don't worry; just remember that your not done growing yet. It can hurt when other people teases you, but don't let it get you down. Your breasts are a beautiful part of you, and size does not matter.

I hate my boobs! They are so small!! I wear a padded bra and can barely fit in it! I know my friends know. When the heck are my hormones gonna kick in? Please help me!!!

Most of the things that I could say, you have probably heard before; don’t try to grow up to quick, your not done growing yet, small breast are great, your more worried about them than others, be happy with who you are, and different girls bodies grow at different stages!

The fact, all of this is true, although it may not make you feel better; your body is not done growing yet. Some girls experience puberty later than others; sometimes breast can be the last part to develop. In fact, some girls go through a growth spurt and develop their breast in just a few months.

There is also a question of heredity, for some breast may never be a big issue. Most adults with small breast wish they could be larger, while adults with large breast wish they were smaller. Small or large; either way they are a part of who you are. There is an old saying that I don't normally like to use, but it can help to put things in perspective (Big breast look better under clothes, but Small breast look better without them!)
[The last statement is not the opinion of this site, and should not be taken out of the context of the question.]

Sometimes trying to wear a padded bra before you are able to fit in one can have the opposite effect. Wearing this bra under a t-shirt can sometimes look strange, especially if you don't completely fill it up.

My advices is doing away with the padded bra, and try a sports bra instead. Yes, your friends may notice at first, but in the end you will be happy, and have nothing to hide. Your breast never really stops growing, and given time they should catch up.

The absolute most important thing is; be happy with who you are, and remember that your breast are a beautiful part of you.

My breasts are full grown but they're really small. Some of my clothes just don't look good on a small chest. I can't afford a padded bra, what are some other ways I can make my bust look bigger in certain tops? Are there certain materials I could use?

Anything tight will make your breast look bigger, spandex for instants. If you wear a shirt that is tight on your body, but semi-loose on your breast, it will give your breast the illusion of being larger. Certain colors like gray will enhance the shadows, for an optical illusion. Try different colors to see what works best for you.

Remember that the size of your breast really doesn't matter. It is true that guys will often turn their attention to a woman with large breast, but it is not the size that is grabbing their attention, it is the breast. A woman with small breast can have the same effect on men, by simple drawing there attention to their breast. A tight shirt, a necklace, or sheer clothing can draw attention to the breast...and size won't matter. There has been a lot of research to prove this fact.

Remember that most people prefer small perky breast, to large saggy breast. Most girls feel that large breast is what attracts a guy; this is because guys will turn his head to look at a girl with large breast. The breast is what is getting his attention; the size is only making it easier to catch his eye.

Most girls want this type of attention, therefore they want bigger breast. But remember, even though a guy may seem to love large breast, in reality most guys are far more attracted by hair, eyes, and a cheerful personality. Guys turn their heads out of habit, because society has taught them to; most guys prefer a well-groomed girl, who takes care of her body, and dresses neat, and fashionable.

In choosing a method for making your breast appear larger, ovoid appearing sluty. You can draw attention to your breast, but always leave something to the imagination.

My bra size is 36 A, my breasts have not grew any more since 6th grade. Will they grow anymore or is this the size they'll always be? I am worried about this.

The thing about breast growth is you never know what they will do. Your breast will continue to grow until the age of 21, and may change in size throughout your life. How big your breast will be, is unknown. You can look at your mother and sisters, and get a general idea of the size your breast will be, but there is no way to know for sure.

The good new is that many girls breast don't hit a growth spurt until around 16 or 17, so yours may be on the way. Don't worry too much, your breast will problem gain in size soon.

What if they don't? Small breast are not a bad quality, in fact many girls (and guys), prefer small to medium size breast. There are many advantages in having small breast.

Learning to love what you have can be difficult, but that is the best advice there is.
